Choosing the Nintendo Switch

In theory, every Filipino
gamer can purchase a
Nintendo Switch

I changed my gaming choice to the Nintendo Switch because the video game console is versatile and energy-efficient. The Switch has a battery, so it can continue to operate in the case of power interruptions. the Switch relies on the SD card as its official storage expansion. Like the PlayStation, the Switch is lucrative, contributing to its popularity across city malls. Like the Xbox, the Nintendo account creation process is straightforward because the country field includes all the world's countries. On top of it all, the Nintendo Switch is designed to be efficient across most televisions. Its picture format is up to 1080p60. Support for surround sound is its only audio enhancement feature. Nintendo emphasizes colorful and group-oriented games. As for its affordability, energy efficiency, and preference for established standards, the Nintendo Switch has huge potential in the Philippines.

I opened a Nintendo account to consistently sync my gameplay across computing platforms: Nintendo console-format games and Nintendo-affiliated games on general-purpose computers. As the Nintendo Switch has humble performance levels, I would choose a 1080p smart TV. I want to be able to play games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and several Pokemon games. I prefer the Nintendo Switch OLED because it has larger internal storage (64 GB) and more immersive colors. In exchange, the smart TV would also be OLED-based.

Previous considerations

Earlier, I considered purchasing the Xbox and the PlayStation. The Xbox was my first consideration. I have a Microsoft account and a Windows computer, so communication with the video game console would be straightforward. Similar to the Windows computer, the Xbox has an option of a fully local account, which allows more offline gameplay. The only obstacle to purchasing the Xbox was that the console was deemed not very lucrative.

Next is the PlayStation, which has exclusive game titles aplenty and immersive performance. Similar to the Xbox, the PlayStation supports 4K resolution, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and surround sound; it also relies on the solid-state drive as its official storage expansion. The most serious issue I encountered about the PlayStation lies with account creation.
