So what if the world rightsizes its population?

Depopulation gives our
planet more chance to
replenish its natural
resources

In the 20th century, overpopulation was humanity's prime concern. Clouds of ideas said that Earth's population will grow beyond sustainability. There was no data to counter the overpopulation idea. People who intended to reduce the population started distributing contraceptives. They also promoted a childfree lifestyle as environmentally friendly. On top of it all, these people endorsed intentional abortion. Their methods are so successful that depopulation is the 21st century's prime concern. Fertility rates decline worldwide. A growing number of countries and localities have a shrinking population.

Depopulation is beautiful because We have severe resource inequality issues. Billions of people have no access to decent resources. Compared to their profits, the elite do nothing to resolve poverty. It takes a small amount of their wealth to end poverty worldwide. Poverty requires immediate action rather than the pipe dream of thinking of a so-called "future." Ordinary people smile at depopulation because they know the cost of living. The elite worry the most because they will lose employees. Depopulation is irreversible in at least one generation. Affected countries spend billions to boost the population, only to finally accept the decline. Depopulation by staying childfree and single compels the elite to take action. We should not procreate so that the elite will truly serve us. When still desperate for population growth, the elite would have no choice but to support artificial wombs. It's OK when We commoners become biologically extinct by staying childfree and single. When the elite want many people, so be it. They are moneyed. They can pay for artificial wombs.

When a company rightsizes its workforce, it is considered productive. When the world rightsizes its population, it is considered alarming. So what if the world population reduces to more sustainable levels? We deserve depopulation because it saves our planet. Depopulation gives our natural resources more chance to heal.
