Monarchism is about finding an adequate political system

The remaining
monarchical countries
should maintain their
monarchy rather than
abolish it

Monarchism is not just about tradition and nostalgia. It is also about finding an adequate political system. Remember the keyword: adequate. Many so-called republics should return to monarchism because it is the only fitting political system for their country. In those such countries, republicanism contributed to extreme political systems.

How does a monarchy benefit a country's citizens? There is a special category of resources called crown property. Depending on the laws of the country, the incumbent king or queen owns the property. Through crown property, the king or queen can start projects and services that benefit the citizenry.

The presence of a powerful monarchy moderates politicians and maintains political stability. Depending on a constitution, the monarchy oversees the parliament. In case of political instability, the monarchy may be empowered to dissolve the parliament, calling for an election.

The remaining monarchical countries should maintain their monarchy. They can reform the monarchy, but they should not abolish it.
