Marriage should be made more flexible and inclusive

Any adult, for as long as
capable and prepared,
should be able to
volunteer to acquire a
marriage

I can see myself getting married for economic and political reasons; moreover, i prefer ceremonial marriage instead of a more divisive romantic marriage. In a ceremonial marriage, the husband and the wife attend events and open projects involving their respective clans. The spouses also discuss the alliance between their clans. There is one responsibility though: the spouses must know each other's other marriages.

I am a reformist regarding the institution of marriage, and i support legalizing polygamy. One can have a romantic marriage and a ceremonial marriage at the same time. Having only a purely romantic marriage is obviously challenging: the issues of romantic and sexual affairs outside of such marriages. The notions of adultery and concubinage should be removed from the institution of marriage. All forms of sexual intercourse that have mutual consent are correct. Divorce should be legalized, and annulment should be made less costly. The legal definition of "marriage" should be inclusive. After all, i support making the institution of marriage more flexible and inclusive. Any person of legal age, for as long as capable and prepared, can volunteer to acquire a marriage.
