Still yearning for the Xbox

The Xbox allows interoperability with Windows

While I have a Nintendo Switch OLED and multiple physical copies of Nintendo Switch games, I hope to obtain an Xbox one day. In particular, choose an Xbox Series X, which is basically a black tower with ventilation at the top. Compared to the Sony PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch, the Microsoft Xbox Series X|S allows an extensive inventory of non-gaming data processing, such as USB file playback or general web browsing. Another benefit is interoperability with Microsoft Windows, which means more immediate communication and data transfer between Xbox consoles and Windows computers. With the Xbox, I can use a Microsoft account as an Xbox account so that I can play Xbox games anywhere in the Philippines. Xbox has backward compatibility, meaning that it can render video games from previous or obsolete Xbox versions.

Non-recommendation of PlayStation 5

There is no particular interest in obtaining a PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, on my side, the top reason is that using a PlayStation requires a Sony account, whose account creation page doesn't list the Philippines in its countries list. It's a paradox, considering the sale of PlayStation units in the Philippines. You have to contact the Sony company to help open a Sony account in the Philippines; attempting to open a Sony account without company assistance is risky for the account. Another reason is energy consumption: the disc edition of the PlayStation 5 consumes up to 300 watts, while the Xbox Series X consumes up to 220 watts. Our resources are limited, and we have to be a little more efficient. As we are all Windows gamers, when we use a PlayStation, we waste Windows' interoperability features for the Xbox.
