Life-sanctity advocates or suicide oppositors should step up their tactics

In Canada, as "medical assistance in dying" or "MAiD" is more prevalent than reasons to stay alive, many people consider ending their lives because resources that help them enjoy their lives are way beyond their reach. In parts of Europe, people can apply to die and state their reasons as "aging-related illnesses," "psychiatric disorders," or "dissatisfaction with life."

Death with Dignity programs gained notoriety for targeting marginalized and vulnerable sectors. Death with dignity could force health workers to kill their patients, which directly contradicts the Hippocratic oath of "first, do no harm." In the United States, premier health societies oppose the idea of death with dignity by rejecting "assisted suicide." However, death with dignity has a place in society for as long as there is a myth that asserts that someone must prove their worth before others.

To maintain loyalty to human life, We must institute and endorse en mass doctrines and institutions that assert that every person has worth regardless of background and that proving one's worth is unnecessary. Here is an Endevr documentary that urges the appreciation of human life and highlights the flaws of the doctrine of death with dignity.

The expansion of the "death with dignity" doctrine is a wake-up call that life-sanctity advocates or pro-lifers need to step up their actions to keep everyone loyal to being alive. They need to design new institutions and systems that prioritize the right to live

Concerning economics, do We need to replace the capitalist system in its entirety? Yes, because that growth-based system expressly and purposely discards people who are unable to accumulate tremendous amounts of material wealth. Meanwhile, post-growth economic systems are designed to prioritize the well-being of the people and the natural world. Therefore, We must implement post-growth paradigms as part of our solution to ensure loyalty to being alive.
